Kelso vs. The Fox
The other night we were sitting on the couch watching a movie, and we noticed a huge fox running around our yard. Two of our cats were outside, so we were worried that the fox might get the small one that we have. Fortunately the cats were both on our porch. I ran outside and threw our small cat Bobby inside.
I then ran at the fox yelling to scare it off. The fox ran away into the woods, and as I turned around to come back inside, I notice our big tom cat Kelso (yes, we like "That 70's Show") running out to go after the fox. His eyes were all wild looking and dilated and he must have thought he could take on the fox.
I grabbed him and brought him inside. But I started wondering if Kelso could take on a fox or not. He's pretty big. He's 13 lbs solid. But this Fox probably weighed around 20 - 25 lbs. So I put up a poll. Who do you think would win between the fox and our cat?

I think Kelso would rip his eyes out before the fox had a fighting chance lol.
Thanks! I hope Kelso would win, and apparently everyone else thinks he would too! We're still keeping him in at night, just in case. We can have our dogs out during the day to keep the fox away :).
Yeah, its probably best not to actually test out the fight theory :)

I tried to use the link you sent me for the student forum. I could not. Thank you for sending another link. I am looking forward to starting my lessons tomorrow. I've never seen a fox fight, only run from dogs. I know cats scratch and bite.
