Tim, I applaud you for bringing the issues that are plaguing all of us to the forfront in your painting. I love the painting. I think you really nailed it on the head. My opinion, maybe we should all just let them go over the cliff and start over. We aren't just sheep who are so distracted with who's got a baby bump in hollywood. We are so stressed with the economic issues, probably more than any other time that I can remember, and I'm pretty old. Thanks for a meaningful painting.
I grew up in the small town of Washburn, Maine. I've lived here all of my life, minus one year in New Jersey. Living in the scenic area of Maine gives me a lot of inspiration. If you haven't seen Maine in the fall, put it on your list of things to see. I love to paint, photograph, and draw anything and everything. Abstract, impressionist, realism... I try to paint many ways, and then incorporate them all together. I'm big into sports too... not the most common combination... an artistic jock... but hey it's great to have a part in many different activities. Maybe someday, I'll paint an entire picture with a deflated basketball... Thanks for checking out my blog! I hope you enjoy my artwork.
